Wot u smoking, bro

Im all about self improvement like I just said. Why would you tell someone to basically not give themselves some self-loving? You don't know him; I'm pretty sure he's accomplished a lot in his life. Why can't he or anyone else tell him or herself that they're the bees knees bc of those accomplishments or w/e?

Look up embodied cognition as well, D00d.

I'm not telling him not to give himself confidence though. Just that caution should be practiced doing it. And my statement wasn't actually toward him, guess I was generalizing. Sorry for the confusion. Maybe I didn't word that like I should've.

I'm not trying to ruin anyone's day.

Why is caution required

You literally focus on the positives in your life and continuously strive for self improvement instead of focusing on the negatives eg being rejected by women

How is that going to bite u in the a***

Waht

You can't get hung up on it. You have to understand that things like that happen in life. If you don't pick yourself back up from it, you'll only make things worse for yourself. Rejection is natural and it happens to all of us, you just have to view it in a more positive way. For instance, you could say it's because you haven't found the right one yet.

There's a someone out there for everyone, ya know? You can't let the bad ones get to you.

I've personally been rejected all my life. So much so that o am pretty much use to it by now. Me being ugly and undesirable is simple as the sun rising in the sky. It's that simple. There are a few things you can do but try not to dwell on it, as you may lost yourself.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

Easier said than done, but the key is to not place your self-worth in the hands of others. If the basis for your self-esteem and self-confidence is internal, then it has the double effect of dulling the edges of rejection and also making you appear more confident in yourself, which will help your chances. Be happy with yourself first because it's the only person you can guarantee will always be around to give you that boost in confidence.

"Then you've got the chance to do better next time."
"Next time?"
"Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is."
